Interview with Able (Subsapien) 2

Me:
Hey, everyone! This week I’m doing another character interview. Interviews done with characters are a character building exercise, plus they’re really fun. This week’s interview is with Able from my science-fiction series Subsapien. Thanks to everyone who contributed questions! They’re great. Now on to the interview. *turns in chair to Able* Hi, Able.
Able:
*sitting in the chair next to me, voice is undeveloped* Hi!
Me:
Ready to answer questions?
Able:
Ready!
Me:
Okay. *has laptop on my lap* First question is from Maddie Jay: Oh my word I love him!  Do your tail and wings etc. show all the time?

Able:
No. I can make my tail invis’ble or tuck it down my pants, and I can make my wings invis’ble too or put them under my shirt and pants. *stretches wings* They are out right now.

Me:
Second question is from Cassidy Clayton: Squee! Able!! Okay. Hm. Now for a question or two … What is your favorite food?

Able:
Cookies! I love cookies. Oreos are the best. *grins*

Me:
*laughs a little* The next one is from Maddie Jay: What is your favorite toy?

Able:
My ball. *holds up red rubber ball* I love it. *hugs it, nuzzles it*
Me:
*smiles* All right Maddie Jay and Cassidy Clayton both ask, what color kitten would you like?
Able:
I like the orange stripy kind.
Me:
All right. Here’s one from Ruth Blomgren: HI ABLE! Firstly; you’re ADORABLE! I want to hug you! Sorry, I know that’s weird coming from someone you can’t see, but I love you and can’t wait to learn more about you. Secondly; I have several questions, if you don’t mind. I asked Matt a couple of these, but some are just for you.

Able:
*frowns a little, shakes it off* Hugs? I love hugs. I want to hug you too. *smiles*

Me:
Aw. Now for the actual question: What do you like to eat, do and go; what’s fun to you whether you’re with friends or alone?

Able:
That is a lot of questions. Um. I like to eat cookies and bacon and fish, I play with my ball and go where the Masters tell me to. Playing with my ball is always fun.

Me:
Next question is from Maggie: Hi Able!

Able:
Hi!

Me:
*smiles* Do you have a favorite part about being Peter Elias’ bodyguard and companion?

Able:
I like having a friend all the time.

Me:
This one is from Krissy Aleman: ABLE! *flails* (Give him a hug from me, ok?)

Able:
I like all these people that want to give me hugs.

Me:
*laughs a little* Do you like playing with Peter? What’s your favorite thing to do with him?

Able:
I like playing with Master Peter Elias most of the times, but sometimes he wants to do everything his way. I like to play pretend games, but he is always the hero and I am the bad guy.

Me:
I see. Another from Ruth Blomgren: Who is your best friend and who is your worst enemy?

Able:
Bryce or Master Peter Elias is my friend. My enemy is Matt. He is bad. *frowns, growls a little, tail thumps against the chair*

Me:
Hm. This one is also from Ruth: How do you typically act around others and how does it differ than when you’re alone?

Able:
I do not know …

Me:
This one is from Maggie: Would you rather spend time around people or be alone?
Able:
I like being with friends. Lonely is not fun. *sticks out bottom lip*

Me:
I know I created you, but you’re adorable. Another from Krissy Aleman: I know that you love balls, but what do you like to do with them?

Able:
*counts on fingers* I bat it around, I play fetch, I bounce it off walls … Lots of stuff.

Me:
Also from Ruth Blomgren: What are your greatest fears and happiest thoughts? What calms you down or makes you angry?

Able:
Um … I do not know … I do not want to die. Kitties make me happy. *matter of fact* My ball and drugs calm me down. The sci’tists give them to me if I am upset or bad. Stubbing my toe makes me very angry.

Me:
*nods* This is another one from Ruth Blomgren: What is your favorite childhood memory and what is your earliest memory?

Able:
Um … *looks up in thought* I think my favorite memory is when I first got my red ball. I love my red ball. I was not so lonely after I got it. My earliest one is when the sci’tist stuck this needle in my arm and it made me feel very bad. It was not nice.

Me:
Aw.

Able:
It is okay. I am a big boy now and I can take all the needles. *nods firmly*

Me:
Yes, you are. She also asks: What are your morals, beliefs?

Able:
What are those?

Me:
What do you think is good and bad?

Able:
Oh. Good stuff is when you obey the Masters and bad stuff is when you do not.

Me:
I see. This one is from Krissy Aleman too: Have you seen the sports that people play on TV? Do you want to play any of them?

Able:
Yeah, I have seen some. I would like to play soccer, but I do not think I will get to. *shoulders droop*

Me:
Hmm. Last question: Have you ever been swimming? Wait, can your metal arm even get wet?

Able:
I have been swimming lots of times. My metal arm can get wet. It is water p’oof. Master Peter Elias and me go swimming in Master Judah’s pool when he wants to. I have fire swim trunks. They are my favorite.

Me:
Well that is the last of the questions. I hope you all enjoyed them. You can check out Able’s first interview here. If you have any more questions, leave them in the comments, and if I get enough I can do another interview. And this is for everyone. *sets laptop on my desk, stands up, opens arms* Hug.

Able:
*grins, gets up, gives me a hug, he’s taller than me*

Me:
*hugs him tight*

Able:
*squeezes*

Me:
*grunts, strained* Not too tight, Able.

Able:
Oh. Sorry. *loosens grip*

Me:
*keeps hugging Able* Bye, everyone!

AWWW!!! Love you, Able! (and I like kitties, too; their soft and purry!)

Well, I do have a few more questions for Able in the future, because some of his answers made me curious.

1 I know you don't like Matt, I'm sorry for forgetting that for a moment in my statement, but do you know who Matt actually is?
2 Can you tell me what he did or said that means he's bad? Or were you just told he's bad?
3 Has he hurt you? Have you hurt him?
