I just turned 22 this week, and it feels &#8230; well &#8230; weird. I&#8217;ve started this journey of being a writer officially at 16 then started this blog at 19 and now I&#8217;m 22 and I feel in my heart I&#8217;m on the verge of being published. Big swoop of nostalgia.<\/p>\n<p>And I have a theme song now:<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" class=\"YOUTUBE-iframe-video\" data-thumbnail-src=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/AgFeZr5ptV8\/0.jpg\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"266\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AgFeZr5ptV8?feature=player_embedded\" width=\"320\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>\nI had some rough spots in my <a href=\"https:\/\/victoriagracehowell.com\/staging\/6258\/2014\/04\/now-im-21.html\">21st year <\/a>but I also had a lot of triumphs and good times. Last year I finally met my birth grandparents on my dad&#8217;s side! They&#8217;re so nice. Yes, I know it sounds like something in a book. In my 21st year I worked on three different books: edited one, rewrote another, then drafted another in NaNoWriMo which I won (Woot! Woot!) and now up to now I&#8217;m rewriting the one I edited. It needed more work lol. I have an editing position for the website <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.geeksundergrace.com\/\">Geeks Under Grace<\/a><\/i> and I have some publishers highly interested in some of my work so my 22nd year will mostly be working on getting material ready for them! I&#8217;m working on two books at the same time right now. Not recommended lol.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\nAmong some geeky gifts, for my birthday I got <i>Omega Dragon<\/i> by Bryan Davis, <i>Failstate: Legends<\/i> by John W. Otte, and a Bestiary!
