\nHappy Valentine’s Day! It’s time for this month’s Beautiful People! Yay! This is a link-up hosted by Paperfury<\/a> and Further Up and Further In<\/a> where you answer questions about your characters. I participated in Beautiful People  for the last three years every month. Pretty crazy. XD <\/span><\/span>This link-up has been just so helpful with character development. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nCaleb<\/a> and Pro<\/a>‘s relationship doesn’t blossom until the third book of their four book series Subsapien<\/a><\/i>, but it’s about time that I start delving into them as a couple. \nHow and why did they meet?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhen Caleb was turned into a biomech (basically a cyborg), he met Pro in their dormitory shortly after he woke up from the coma after operation.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhat were their first impressions of each other?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nCaleb immediately thought Pro was beautiful, but way out of his league. Pro thought he was a nice guy who needed her help, but nothing more. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nHow would they prove their love for each other?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nFor Caleb it’s hard for him to find people he can trust with his secrets. Having Pro as someone he can trust means a lot to him. Despite all of Pro’s bravado, she wants to feel protected since she’s felt so vulnerable since a certain spoilery moment in her past. When Caleb becomes someone she feels safe around, that’s when she starts getting feelings for him. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhat would be an ideal date?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nCaleb loves museums and Pro likes sports. A good happy medium for them is a museum with sports exhibits and Chinese food. They both love Chinese food.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nIs there something they emphatically disagree on?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nPro loves <\/i>sports and besides the exercise Caleb thinks they’re a waste of time and they cause unnecessary injuries. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nList 5 \u201cfood quirks\u201d they know about each other. (Ex: how they take their coffee, if they\u2019re allergic to something, etc\u2026.and feel free to mention other non-food quirks!)<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n1.) Caleb really likes macchiatos with chocolate syrup<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n2.) Pro likes any coffee drink with a lot of sugar and caramel syrup<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n3.) Caleb has chronic migraines and suffers from insomnia<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n4.) Pro hates dresses. She doesn’t like the breezes. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n5.) Both of them prefer ankle socks and can’t stand the feeling of socks higher than that<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhat\u2019s one thing they know about each other that no one else does?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nFor the longest time it was that they’re both Christians which is illegal in their world. Caleb knows that Pro is more scared than she acts. Pro knows that despite Caleb’s nervousness he’s a very brave person. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhat\u2019s one thing that they keep a secret from each other?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nThat Caleb doesn’t feel good enough for her and that if Pro tells everything she did while working at Rota that he wouldn’t love her anymore.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nHow would their lives be different without each other?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nPro wouldn’t have someone that she feels that she can take her shields down around. Caleb wouldn’t have someone to help him get out of his shell. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nWhere do they each see this relationship going?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nThey’re still young (15 and 14), so for right now they’re just testing if they’re compatible. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
