<\/span> January was an interesting month. It had a lot of ups and a lot of downs, so an interesting start to the years. XD I think it was mostly good though.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nWhat I did:<\/span><\/span>
\n
<\/span>1.) I finished reading over Red Hood<\/i>! I’ve assessed all of the changes that need to be made and over the next two months, I’ll start implementing them!<\/span><\/span>
\n
<\/span>2.) I went up to my birth grandmother’s house (I’m adopted in case you didn’t know) and I’d like to report that this was an amazing and I had a wonderful time like I can say about my other travels, but spoiler alert my life isn’t perfect and this was honestly a very difficult trip. My grandpa passed away suddenly last year and I only got to meet him once. Every day I was at my grandma’s house I cried myself to sleep because I  didn’t get to spend more time with him. Though it was hard, I’m glad I did it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n

\nOn a happier note, it snowed again, but this time it was icier so lots of icicles!<\/span>
\n
<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n

\nAnd I also went to a local duck pond I haven’t been to in years and fed some duckies. My favorites are the Muscovies (the ones that look half turkey). <\/span><\/p>\n

\n3.) I finished Siege and Storm<\/i> by Leigh Bardugo and White<\/i> by Ted Dekker! Reviews up soon!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span> 4.) I finished two fanart drawings of King’s Quest <\/i>this month! If you don’t know what that is you haven’t been reading this blog very long. XD<\/span><\/span>

\n5.) I wrote reviews of the Greatest Showman<\/a> <\/i>and The Death Cure<\/a> <\/i>for Geeks Under Grace!<\/span><\/span>

<\/span>The Geeky Department:<\/span><\/span>
\n
<\/span>1.) I watched ERASED: A Town Without Me<\/i> this month. Apparently, this anime has been out for a little while, but I haven’t gotten to it by now. I’d seen the manga in Barnes & Noble, but what made me finally watch it was Amalee did a cover of the opening and maaaaan I was hooked by the first episode. This is a fantastic anime.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n


<\/span>2.) I finished season two of Kekkai Sensen <\/i>and though this season was even more episodic than the first, I still enjoyed it. \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n


<\/span><\/span> 3.) I saw the<\/i> Death Cure<\/i>! I was a little nervous about seeing it since I wasn’t crazy about The Scorch Trials<\/i>, but I enjoyed it even a little more than the book.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n


<\/span>4.) I played the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time<\/i>, a few years ago, but for some reason, I barely remember it and I don’t know if I ever finished it then I lost my disc for it so I had to buy the app on the Wii. Now I’ve finally gotten to replaying it and besides the extremely difficult gameplay it’s become my second favorite Legend of Zelda<\/i> game. I love the story attached to it and all of the side characters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n


<\/span><\/span> 5.) My sister McKhayla convinced me to watch The Crown<\/i> and I’m so glad I did! I appreciate Queen Elizabeth so much more as a monarch and a person after seeing this show.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n


<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span> What I’m Going to Do:<\/span><\/span>
\n
<\/span>1.) I’m going to work on the Red Hood<\/i> rewrites and try to squeeze in reading over Silhouette<\/i>, but we’ll see how much I can handle at one time.<\/span><\/span>
\n
<\/span>2.) I don’t really have any plans for next month other than work and maybe going to more parks. But I do have some news, I’m not attending Realm Makers this year after all.<\/b> I’ve given it a lot of thought and I’m instead using the money I would be spending for RM to save up for the Iceland Writers Retreat. I really want to network with more international writers and I’m dying to go to Europe again, so I feel like this is the better decision for my career and my finances. I’m still nervous about coming up with all of the funds, but I feel good about this decision. I’m going to try applying for scholarships as well.<\/span><\/span>
\n
<\/span>3.) I want to finish Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban then I want to read to read Green <\/i>by Ted Dekker and Assassin’s Blade <\/i>by Sara J. Maas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>4.) I did a single drawing of Hole-In-The-Wall and I need to finish it. And I’d like to do another drawing but I’m not sure what. XD<\/span><\/span>

<\/span>5.) I should have some new pieces go up on Geekdom House, but I’m not totally sure …<\/span><\/span>
