\n*sitting on a stool with his white wings folded on his back* Hello, Victoria. I’m doing well.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMe:<\/span><\/div>\n
\n*smiles* Good. So, Meldar, tell us a little about yourself.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMeldar:<\/span><\/div>\n
\nWell, I’m eighteen reigns of moons, about to graduate lessons and begin my Guardian training. I live with my adoth, naima, and little brother, Rouyn.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMe:<\/span><\/div>\n
\nYour adoth and naima?<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMeldar:<\/span><\/div>\n
\nMy father and mother. We sylphs call them “adoth” and “naima”.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMe:<\/span><\/div>\n
\nInteresting. And what is “Guardian training”?<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMeldar:<\/span><\/div>\n
\nTraining to become one of the most esteemed positions in my colony, a Guardian. Guardians take care of the kind of birds they study for and keep them in balance. I plan to become a Guardian of the Birds of Prey.<\/div>\n

\nMe:<\/span><\/div>\n
\nWow. Are you excited about that?<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMeldar:<\/span><\/div>\n
\n*smiles* I’m looking forward to it.<\/div>\n

\nWhat do you think of your younger brother?<\/div>\n

\n*frowns slightly* He’s irresponsible, reckless, and he spends too much time with his pegasus, even for an Iadlonu.<\/div>\n

\nYou don’t seem to care for him that much. What is an “Iadlonu”?<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMeldar: <\/span><\/div>\n
\nA special type of person that can connect in spirit with one intelligent animal such as a pegasus or phoenix or dragon.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMe:<\/span><\/div>\n

\n*looks at Meldar* Landora and I are going to watch the Moonlight Dance in the woods tonight and I’m spending the night in the woods. I was wondering if you could cover collecting clay tomorrow morning for me?<\/div>\n

\nMeldar:<\/span><\/div>\n
\n*sighs through nose, looks at me* Do you see what I mean?<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMe:<\/span><\/div>\n
\nYeah. I’m an older sibling, so I feel your pain.<\/div>\n

\nRouyn:<\/span>
\n*looks at Meldar expectantly* So?<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nBryce:<\/span><\/div>\n
\n*stands in doorway* So what’s going on in here?<\/div>\n

\n*frowns at Bryce*<\/div>\n

\nMe:<\/span><\/div>\n
\n*sighs long* Bryce, leave. I’m doing another interview.<\/div>\n

\nCrystal.  *sits on the floor*<\/div>\n

\n*frowns* What part of “leave” made you think you could stay?<\/div>\n

\nOkay, boys. Settle down. But Rouyn and Bryce, since you’re here, I have some questions for you.<\/div>\n

\nMostly bow. A little bit with a knife, but not that much.<\/div>\n

\nOur race does not encourage violence. We only use it for necessary defense.<\/div>\n
