\nI’m not really a coffee person. I prefer tea, and I know a lot of fellow writers love tea, too. But have you ever wanted to break out of the Early Grey or English Breakfast norm and try something new? Well, let me help you find some cool new teas! If you need a little hot and flavorful boost to help you reach your writing goal or you’re just a lover of tea or you’d like to try some tea but aren’t fond of the stereotypical types, these Tea Tuesday posts are for you.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nHow I found it: <\/span>I found this tea on the Adagio tea website while browsing through their many fandom blends. This is same tea company I got the Avatar: The Last Airbender<\/i> set which includes Aang<\/a>, Katara<\/a> and several more fandom blends and BBC Sherlock<\/i> teas which Sherlock Holmes <\/a>(of course \ud83d\ude09 ) and John Watson<\/a> and several more blends. I thought I wouldn’t get this tea in time because somehow it went to Miami, Florida. I live in Atlanta. Go figure. But it is here the Tales and Tea Leaves set! It is a set based on Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings<\/i> and the Hobbit<\/i> books. The tagline for the set is “For those who wander.” Enjoy Tolkien fans!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Tea:<\/span> This tea definitely reminds me of the Tree of Gondor. It is earl grey moonlight with undertones of snowbud and cream. The little creamy snowbud flavor at the end made me think of the single bloom on the tree in Return of the King, the symbol of hope, while the rich earl grey reminds me the trunk and branches. The tea itself is very pretty. It is primarily black with a few cornflower petals sprinkled in it. I could see this being a standard tea in Gondor. Perhaps Aragorn drank it after he was crowned.<\/p>\n

\nServing Recommendations:<\/span> I steeped this tea for three minutes and had it with sugar and cream.<\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
\nHow much is it and where can you get it? <\/span>You can find this tea at the Adagio website<\/a>. I bought this tea in a sample set which was about $22 including shipping and you get a goodly amount of tea since you only need about a teaspoon per cup.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nSo how good is it? <\/span>This was a nice tea, but not especially thrilling to me. It tasted similar pretty similar to regular Earl Grey. Though it seemed Gondorian, it didn’t stand out among other teas I’ve tried.<\/p>\n
